Certification	This course is a preparation for the exam “Foundation Certificate in Software Testing” or other certificate to meet the requirements as industry needed. This is combined between 2 months course and 2 months internship. The course covers principles and standards in testing, test management, test phases, reviews and inspections, a large number of test techniques for both white-box and black box testing and test tools. The exam will take place at the end of the course. Based on the needs of the educational community, and the software professional, this course takes a unique approach to teaching software testing. It introduces testing concepts that are managerial, technical, and process oriented as a guiding framework. The exam will take place at the end of the course. The internship will take a place on well founded IT consultancy company in New Zealand for real world project expereince.
Target Audience	The overall objective of this course is to improve knowledge and gain practical skills in the areas of structured software testing. The course is completed with an internationally recognized certificate for software testing. Testers who want to study the structured testing and as part of their test career want to gain the ISTQB Foundation Certificate. Users, developers and administrators involved in testing information systems and software products. Quality officers and project managers who want to explore structured testing and defining test standards exercise

Examination	The ISTQB® Foundation examination is a closed book exam that is 60 minutes in duration (or 75 minutes for candidates taking exams outside of their native language). It is a 40-question multiple choice exam with each question being worth 1 point. Candidates must score a minimum of 26 points (or 65%) to pass the exam and become a Foundation Certified Tester. Examinations are independently administered and assessed.
