1. What is a rendezvous point?
Rendezvous points are inserted into test scripts to emulate heavy user load on the server.
Rendezvous points instruct Vusers to wait during test execution for multiple Vusers to arrive at a
certain point so that all the users can simultaneously perform a task.
2. What are the different recording options available?
The available recording levels are GUI-based script, HTML-based script, and URL-based script.
For most applications including those with JavaScript GUI-based script is used. This option
instructs VuGen to record HTML actions as context sensitive GUI functions.
For applications with applets and VB Script HTML-based script is used. The HTML-based
option, which is the default recording level for Web Vusers, instructs VuGen to record HTML
actions in the context of the current web page. It does not record all resources during the
recording session, but downloads them during replay.
